IRON DUNE / BOSS FIELD GUIDE

The bosses of IRON DUNE
Monsters and a giant siege robot.

Five bosses. Five different threats. Meet the monsters and the siege robot, learn to recognize their attacks and prepare your army before they arrive.

The times are according to Game clock, with the event triggered and the battle still ongoing. ×2, ×4 or ×6 speed shortens the wait in real time. The data on the page refers to the intensity of a "normal" event.

How it attacks

An arm strike targeted at buildings, with early marking of the impact area. The blow comes after 1.5 seconds; Adjacent ground units take only minor damage.

How to counter it

Take advantage of the warning that comes 20 seconds before the check-in. Concentrate fire on him, move defenders off the mark and keep a force near the buildings on the river bank.

How it attacks

Green blast and strong area hit against ground forces. The Titan marks a hit point and prepares for 2.4 seconds before impact.

How to counter it

Disperse the army and move units from the marked area. A heavy weapon and a long range make it possible to hit him without concentrating all the power around his legs. The first appearance occurs in the fifth minute when the event is active.

How it attacks

Wide ground strike against buildings and ground units. The hit zone is marked 1.4 seconds before the hit, after which Goren recovers for two seconds.

How to counter it

Uncheck before hitting and attack while recovering: Goren then takes 45% more damage. Keep spaces between the units so that one hit doesn't hit them all.

How it attacks

Machine gun, three-missile barrages, plasma, and close-range shockwave. The plasma is marked 2.3 seconds before impact; The missiles are aimed at the target location at the time of launch.

How to counter it

Change position after launching missiles and stay away from the plasma markings. Spread out and attack during the lulls after the heavy weapons. Airplanes are also in danger from the machine gun and missiles.

Webs that disable your army

Abyss Widow

A monstrous giant spider with eight animated legs, fangs and bristles. Its web projectiles fly toward their target and wrap it in a white cocoon.

How it attacks

A web hit disables a unit or building for 18 seconds. Trapped units cannot move or fire; trapped buildings stop production, upgrades and their systems. Webs affect both armies.

How to counter it

Spread out and attack from several directions. Killing the spider immediately frees every trapped target. Otherwise, webs expire on their own and grant the target 8 seconds of immunity to another capture.

Choose which bosses will come into battle

In the start menu, open the "Special events and power". For each boss you can choose off, easy, normal or strong. Kraken only appears on the "Riverfront" map.

At light power the bosses get 70% of the normal durability and damage; In strong power - 140%. Changing the intensity does not change the performance time.

Flying saucers and zombie waves are other events that can be configured separately. The first wave of zombies arrives at minute 12, followed by a wave every 3 minutes; At normal power there are 100 zombies in a wave.
